Golden Ibex
The name “Golden Ibex” comes from the Golden Ibex figurine found in 1999 CE in the ancient city of Akrotiri, now on display at the Museum of Prehistoric Thira in Fira. Originally, it was placed inside a wooden box within a clay chest and made using the lost-wax technique. Its legs, neck, and tail were soldered on, and finishing touches were added using a small hammer, leaving visible indentations. We chose the name “Golden Ibex” as a tribute to the archaeological treasures of Thira, reflecting our love for the beautiful island of Santorini.
